Artist bio

In 2015, four-­piece indie-­rock band Alibi [(Maxi Williams (lead vocals/guitar), Matt Edwards (lead guitar/vocals), Benji Meacham (bass/vocals) & Wesley Brown (drums)] were fairly fresh faces in the Hastings music scene. Since then they’ve gigged extensively in the South East, joined the line-up for Reading & Leeds Festival 2017, performed on BBC Introducing the South and had their new single "Space, Man" played by Huw Stephens on Radio 1.

Alibi state their influences among The Black Keys, The Libertines, Spring King and The Smiths. Their tight vocals and strong stage presence further expectations as they continue to gain momentum, and as well as a progression in sound, Alibi have recently taken their first steps from locally filmed music videos on the beaches of Hastings and Bexhill to professionally filmed, in-­studio videos -­ beginning with their new video for “Space, Man”.

With their biting guitar-­riffs and boyish charm, Alibi welcome a vast and mixed audience. They have proven to be a secret that Hastings cannot conceal, and thus emerged willing and ready to get you off your feet.

3) The second is a group name of a collaboration between dutch producers Armin van Buuren and DJ Tiësto, two of the most famous DJ's on the trance scene. Together they produced only one single; Eternity.

4) An Australian Rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. Alibi consists of Mark Folker (Lead Vocals, Guitar), James Cheetham (Lead guitar, backing vocals), Matt Fairhurst (Drums, Percussion) & Arryn Bills (Bass).

5) A German rap-crew from Sollingen. Also raps in Polish language.

6) Alias for the DJ duo Freemasons (also known as The Alibi). They are most known for their hit as Alibi vs. Rockefeller with the song Sexual Healing, a remix of the Marvin Gaye classic.

8) A little known band from Columbia, MD. Mostly referred to as a "local band" Surprisingly, their album is recognized by lastfm.

9) Another local band, from Palermo Italy, formed in 2004 which broke up early 2008.

10) A professional kiter from norway. Alibi plays in the band "kite+rap=sant"
