Curious from an early age after having been exposed to Jazz, Brazilian MPB, Bossa Nova, Classical and Fela Kuti/Nigeria '74 while still very young led Dimitri to explore Warehouse then Acid-House and Ibiza at the age of 14. Jumping forward to 1995 Dimitri was assisting DJ Sasha in the studio, then co-managed and ran Roger Sanchez's Narcotic Records. Followed by agency and management work then press, PR and radio work in 1997/1998 with POP Promotions culminated in co-managing TIP records and 10 Kilo Records. Since 2004 Dimitri has been exclusively DJ'ing around the world, most notably holding strong followings in Japan and Brazil. A regular on tour with Sasha, Layo & Bushwacka! and Luciano amongst others.... While in the studio the focus was mainly on remix projects and collaborations, such as with Sasha and Charlie May and for Bedrock Records with King Roc. Read more on Last.fm.
