Artist bio

Marcelo Vasami was born in June 7th of 1984. His firs contact with music starts in the year 2000, when his cousin, also a dj, made him listen to disco and house music. With the course of the years he really got into the world of electronic music, listening to artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Martin Garcia and Steve Lawler, among many others. Over the year 2003 he gave his firsts steps as a dj, performing at private parties. A year later he started to a produce his own tracks, working hard in his home studio, looking for his own kind of sound. After this, he began sending his productions to many Argentine and international dj's, from whom he received great feedback. Hernan Cattaneo was one of the first to support one of his tracks, "Ru", on his radio show. He then played "Solemn", which was also played by Guille Quero on his Creamfields 2005 set. Guille Quero always supports each of Marcelo’s productions on his live sets and radio shows. Martin Garcia supports Vasami's tracks as well. He played "Stereo Cosmos" on the gret warm-up set he did for Sasha on the summer of 2006. That wasn’t it, on the last Moonpark party in Buenos Aires, with Steve Lawler, Garcia played "Spectra", getting positive feedback from the crowd. Marcelo has already released many tracks: two EP's: "Spectra" (that includes "Spectra" and "The Hole") and "MG" (that includes "MG" and "Stereo Cosmos"). These releases got huge support from many great artists from all over the world, like Deepmariano, Gustavo Di Tomaso, Dj Tarkan, Anthony Pappa, etc. He also collabored with artists like D-pen in the track "Walking in the Dark", signed by Feral Code Records, and with Pablo Roma, in "Pushing me Away", becoming the best-seller track of all times of the Toes in the Sand Record label. As a dj, he is part of the staff of "Sol Solar Bookings", and with only 22 years old, he has shared booth with artists as Dj Paul, Guille Quero, Deepmariano, Naveen G, Gustavo Di Tomaso, Festa Bros, among many others.
