Artist bio

“Parallel Sound have done us proud, turned in a fantastic remix, I’m really happy with this one, Really kept a lot of the original vibe, but also giving it a such a Balearic feel, and been working massively on the dance floor for me, so I hope you enjoy it”. John Digweed.

Nick Muir says enthusiasm from new producers and DJs like Parallel Sound is the exact reason why dance music will never die.

Parallel Sound are Tim Lloyd and Musa Hove. With 15 years of DJ and production experience between them, their unique blend of house, electro and breaks is a style all their own. Truly pushing the boundaries of club music, their crisp, up front production and original sound has cemented them as a favourite for many of the worlds greatest DJ’s, with fans like John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Nick Warren, James Holden and Paolo Mojo to name a few.

Production highlights include a DJ Mag ‘Sureplayer’ in 2005, and their remix of Bedrock’s ‘Santiago’ which was an Essential Selection on Radio 1. The remix being a firm favourite with John Digweed. Their solid production has also resulted in multiple releases with labels such as Hope Recordings, Whoop! and Sinister Recordings to name a few. Requests for their productions are now coming in thick and fast from labels across the globe including Influx Audio, Looq and Sinister, as well as industry heavyweights Bedrock, showing a true industry appreciation for their unique sound. Radio stations are also backing up Parallel Sound with consistent US, Australian and UK radio play.

But production is only half of it. Their live show is unique both in sound and delivery. Seamlessly mixing tracks but still playing them 100% live, Parallel Sound provide a driving eclectic mix with exceptional energy levels and crowd interaction. Often talked about for weeks after, their sets gain enormous respect form DJ’s and punters alike; and all without a laptop in sight.
This reputation has provided Parallel Sound with residencies and headline bookings for many established club nights, at venues like Turnmills, The End, The Cross and Pacha in London, in addition to taking their sound across the globe to The USA, Poland, Italy, Brazil, Ireland, Australia and Turkey.

Parallel Sound are truly original and pushing boundaries, adapting and evolving with the ever-changing club scene. Using the most up to date technology and techniques, they have their own cutting edge angle on up-front house music and live shows.
