"vaya con dios" is a song by Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis. It serves as the fourth track on her second studio album, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞. Kali sings to a lover who is about to leave —hence the name of the song— but she wishes blessings and keeps trying to stay positive facing her situation even though the damages the other person left. ‘vaya con dios’ is a Spanish phrase meant as farewell. It literally translates to ‘go with God’. It’s normallly used in religious or in very dramatic contexts such as when someone says goodbye to someone who is about to go on a long, dangerous journey.
