1) After leaving Gone Bald, Bojan (drums) and Nixa (bass) decided to move on with another band; this Lunar was formed in 1998, Croatia. A few guitarists (Franjo, Mexo, Sven, Saša) came and went before Davor and Mijo settled down and clicked with Bojan and Nixa, and during that period, Lunar made two records:- "There is No One" LP/CD on Carnival Tunes (HR) & Delboy Records (BE) respectfully, and "Turbo" on Moonlee Records (HR). There is also 7" with cover of "Fly me to the Moon" on Delboy Records.

Their debut album "There is No One" was released by Carnival Tunes Records/Delboy Records in 2000, and has been met with critical praise. Close to the release period, they toured in many European countries, for example, Croatia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia & Montenegro.

Their second album, First And Last Lost, was supposed to be released by same record labels. However, the machine with the record broke down and the record was lost forever.

Their third full-length, and first for Moonlee Records, is Turbo.


2) Lunar is Glitch/Orchestral artist Matt McKegg from New Zealand.

Hybrid Awaken, described as an epic blend of glitched-out grooves backed by inspiring orchestral arrangements, was released mid-2006 under creative commons as a free download. It has since picked up popularity and a large following on the social bookmarking website and community, StumbleUpon.

In December 2007, Lunar quietly released a second album, Wall of Sound. The 'signature blend' of electronica and orchestral from Hybrid Awaken remains but this time the journey is deeper and darker.

3) The third Lunar is a Dutch rockband, best described as dEUS meets Pearl Jam meets Snow Patrol.
Lunar geeft aan al die onderwerpen een eigen draai simpelweg door vanuit het gevoel te componeren. De enige regel daarbij is dat er geen regels zijn. Als het nummer vraagt om een cello in plaats van een distorted gitaar dan moet dat maar. Zijn twee basgitaren beter dan een, of moeten de drums met de hand bespeeld worden? So be it. Het gevoel komt op de eerste plaats. Iedere song heeft zijn eigen sound en verhaal terwijl alle songs gezamelijk toch getuigen van een gemene deler: de magie van Lunar. umfelt. werd geschreven en gespeeld door Lunar. Het album werd geproduceerd door Chris Muller en Lunar en opgenomen en gemixed in de HollandSpoor Studios te Den Haag. Mastering werd gedaan door Alan Douches in West West Side Music, New York. De plaat verschijnt bij Lunar’s eigen platenmaatschappij In Your Space Records. Daarnaast is het album verkrijgbaar via i-Tunes en CDbaby. umfelt. werd 31 januari gepresenteerd in het Paard van Troje in Den Haag.

4) Lunar is a German Noiserock Band from the Kassel area. Founded in 1993 Lunar recorded one self-titled album which was mixed and mastered by Andy Classen and published in 1995 by Horny Hell Records. Lunar crossed Sonic Youth-like noiserock with hardcore influences and where a popular live band in the mid-nineties.
