Dead Inside (Interlude)

“Dead Inside” serves as the album’s interlude and references his ex-girlfriend, Geneva. It was first previewed on March 31, 2017 in a deleted tweet captioned, “ALL I CAN DO IS SCREAM RIGHT?” The video shows X singing an a cappella version of the song. On July 8, 2017, X posted a video on his Instagram captioned “17, dead inside”, where he sings the song alongside a piano played by Members Only associate/producer, Natra Average. Back in July 2016, he was charged with robbery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. While he sat in prison for a few months, Geneva, his girlfriend at the time, cheated on him with one of his friends.
