B-roll challenge: Win a pro camera, free music and cinematic presets

We’ve partnered up with pro Creator, Sean Kitching, to give you the chance to win a Canon camera (worth $600) plus a whole bunch of top quality Lickd music and Sean’s favorite cinematic presets.

The runner up will also get five free Lickd tracks, all Sean’s presets and access to his recently launched filmmaking course. It’s all to play for.

How to enter

Feeling up for the challenge? To enter, you must create a b-roll video of 30 seconds minimum using one of the two Lickd tracks listed below:

To use the tracks, sign up to the Lickd platform, browse for the track you want to use and follow the checkout process. If you’re new to the platform your first track is discounted.

Judging criteria

If you’re in it to win it make sure you pay attention to the following judging criteria when planning and creating your video:

Use of music – Make sure your footage works well with the track you’ve chosen
Creativity – Come up with a concept or a way of filming that’s interesting and exciting to watch
Stylistic footage – Don’t limit yourself to the same few shots, adding variety can make your footage stand out from the crowd
Editing – Make sure you maximise your efforts in post-production. Think about how you edit your footage to the music and how to make the visuals most engaging.
