Sean Kitching b-roll challenge: The winning entries

Over 200 of you stepped up to take on Sean Kitching x Lickd’s b-roll challenge and the entries did not disappoint.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved in this challenge, it was truly inspiring to see so many top quality videos from Creators living all over the world.

Third place – Juan Quintana

Juan’s beautifully colour-graded golden hour shots are perfectly timed to the rise and fall of the music and impressed Sean enough to make third place. The close-up shots of the video’s protagonist really convey the emotion behind the video and makes the viewer feel more invested in the narrative. Congrats Juan on an awesome video.

Second place – Rj Calloway

Rj’s compelling narrative and diverse range of beautifully shot footage earned him second place. The cool transitions, ocean timelapse and subtle sound effects particularly stood out to Sean and the Lickd team. Congrats Rj!

First place – Kor nel

Kor nel’s sensory journey through the beautiful Beskid mountains of Poland earned him first place. We were especially impressed with the solo effort – capturing shots this good with noone to help is a real challenge. Plus, the flow of the footage, moving from big establishing drone shots to intimate interactions with the space gives this video the winning edge. Congratulations!
